Really impressed with this sword. I have already used it for cutting and sword play with ropes and mats. I only had to tap in the tacks on the handle. The blade shows the use of play but still nice and clean looking. My swords never stay polished. I like it...

Basic but Well Made
Nice, basic Viking style sword. The copper accents are done with quality paint so that it does not look cheap. The scabbard is a bit of a let down (one star deduction). Just basic leather with no core. Overall, I am pleased

Thank you for taking the time to review the Leuterit Sword.  The copper is plating and not painted, but we see how it could be seen that way.  Also, many scabbards of the period were leather only.  This is why we decided to use this method.  We like liners in many scabbards and do that when required.  It is a bit basic overall knowing what we do now with leather!
My sword weighed just under 3 pounds, love the grip, guard and the promal.the peened was little rough, but that doesn't bother me.Love the style of the blade, also is blade heavy but this is expected on this sword.Scabbard in nice for windless, over very happy with the sword.Have only cut various types of water bottles with is so far and has done very well. Also the second bevel inn't a prpblem, paper cutting sharp-regular and thin paper. You can't beat the deal of the day, have brought six swords on the deel of the day all have been greatGoog customer service ang fast shiping.Ray Blundell
