Product reviews for 17th Century Italian Rapier

This is a gorgeous well-constructed sword, and the basket hilt is beautiful!  However, the rapier is MUCH heavier than I expected due to the amount of steel in the basket.  I would not describe this blade as an agile, balanced weapon., but it is an attractive addition to my collection.

I have bought four rapiers from Museum Replicas and have never been disappointed by service  or quality of the product. This is a beautiful well balanced rapier. Attention to detail is excellent  and recommend to anyone interested in Rapiers. Very happy with this purchase..five stars all around

This is by far my favorite rapier. It is an absolutely beautiful sword and quite well balanced. The sheath is also gorgeous with slight decorations on the metal fittings. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite rapiers in my collection. Very well made and a treat to weild. Only down side is the blade will rust at the ricasso when stored in the scabbard. Leather was still moist.

The price was excellent and the lowest we could find. The sword shipped immediately and arrived on time, carefully packaged. The sword itself is beautiful. I was concerned about the wrapping on the handle as some replicas we purchased have been poorly made but this one is perfect and durable. Very pleased with this purchase, this site is now on my permanent list of companies to purchase from.

I have ever been expanding my collection, and I had a few swords on my "Must Buy When Deal of the Day" list, this was one of them.  My collection comprises of mainly Oakeshott style swords and this was my first rapier.  

I had found that many rapiers are either too plain or too gaudy.  This sword strikes the perfect balance of elegance.  Being of Italian decent, I feel my inner fencer come to life while I hold this sword.

The handle wrap is stunning and high quality.  The sword overall has a wonderful balance between blade and pommel.  It is lightning fast with a strong wrist and the twisted hilt is even better in person.

The scabbard is a typical Windlass scabbard, not as exquisite as their swords, but it is definitely higher quality than some I have seen.

Although I bought this deal of the day, it is well worth the full price amount.  You won't be sorry.
