Review of: Windlass Steelcrafts Langeid Viking Sword
This is a really nice sword. I didn’t expect it to be very sharp but it is. Also handles really well. This website lists it as 3 lbs 2 oz but mine weighs 2.75 lbs. The wire rapped handle actually helps with the grip. The guard and pommel has silver like plating with textured details painted. Overall Windlass has really improved greatly compared to its sword looking crowbar past. Also the scabbard is pretty good and has very nice designs and appears to be real leather. For this price I think it’s worth it.

This sword is great! It’s sharp and light weight. Easy to swing yet solid in hand. Impressive to behold but not flashy. An excellent addition to any collector or student of the Hundred Years War.

Just received it, Really well done. Excellent scabbard and belt it hangs perfectly. the cast in inscription is not as clean as the photo but still looks good.I had it sharpened could have been sharper. i think the machine they use puts on too much bevel. still this is a awesome sword and is now the centerpiece of my collection. A little more pricey than most but well worth it.

Just received my sword. WOW! It is better than I imagined. Great detail in every way: steel, finish, leather, ornamentation. It is sharper than any sword order previously. I am very pleased. Highly recommend it to my SMOTJ brothers.

I bought this sword because it in stock and the Templar Accolade wasn't . I'm so happy with this one that I ordered the Accolade . I had it sharpened and engraved with my initials. I'm pleased with the quality job . The blade has good balance and flexibility . The leather work is excellent . I especially like the length of the grip and the balance the pommel provides .

Superbly rendered example of this sword. Nicely balanced and a bit more useful as a hand and a half sword with the smoothed and round pommel, compared to the Accolade Sword of the Knights Templar which has a shorter grip and a more decorative pommel. Very nicely constructed and you can tell by looking at the spot where the crossguard and blade meet that modern epoxy was used to fill the joint. These weapons are superior in every way to the originals and it will hold a cherished place in my collection.
