The Man at Arms exhibited great martial prowess with a range of weapons like this Grosse Messer hacking sword which literally means "large knife". Although he was not a Knight, he fought and trained alongside them as a brother in arms. The sword was created to honor this rugged, reliable, salt-of-the-earth warrior.
