Review of: "The Book of Swords" Paperback By Hank Reinhardt

A witty and enjoyable text that's a phenomenal introductory primer to the wide and wild world of swords. Well researched and written with clear and easy prose that lacks unnecessary verbosity or convoluted syntax. Deserving of  a spot on anyone's bookshelf.

Review of: Windlass Rustblocker

To be honest this is the first time using this product and all I can say is the rust has been blocked and sent retreating back to the evil lands of Rust!

Review of: Round Ended Butt Cap

I used this butt cap along with the Viking spear tip and a 4-foot shaft. The finished spear is around 5 feet in length and thanks to this butt cap, the balance point is in the middle of the spear. This made for a very neutral and well-balanced spear. I drilled holes for retaining nails, and this cap looks great too.

Review of: Flat Ended Butt Cap

I used this cap with the hewing spear tip and a 6-foot pole. I was concerned about adding more weight, but it actually feels lighter because the balance is so much improved! I think this brought the center of gravity of the long spear back about a foot. I drilled holes to match those on the hewing tip to secure it. Looks great too.

Review of: Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish 200 ml

I'd used Boeshield T-9 as a rust blocker for many years and it was pretty good, but usually left a more liquid residue behind and was prone to eventually allowing rust on edges.

This wax goes on easy, dries very fast, and also adds a wonderful shine to my swords and knives. I've even started using it on some tools. It leaves very thin, dry finish and I think it will outlast other rust preventers I've used. I couldn't be happier with this wax. Can I give it six stars?
