Review of: Eglinton Basket-Hilt Sword

I purchased this as a "Deal of the Day".  I've had my eye on it for quite a while and was delighted to see it come up on sale.  It's stunning.  Feels great in the hand.  Nice weight and balance.  I had it sharpened and am pleased with the blade.  This is an item that now looks to be on the closeout list.  I'd suggest getting it before it's gone.  You won't regret it.

Exceptional fine sword. Glad to have one before MR sells-out. Should have purchased long aqo. Well made, balanced and great looking on my wall. Recommend. Get one before they are gone!

Review of: Battlecry Hattin Falchion

Superb rendering of this historical weapon.  The scabbard is a little tight and does not easily render itself to drawing the weapon quickly but I expect this will resolve itself with use.

Review of: Shrewsbury Sword

This sword just arrived today and I'm very happy with it. Fit and finish on the sword and scabbard are all excellent, with no loose parts. The optional sharpening is nice and even. This is a pretty good-sized sword but the balance is excellent. The handle diameter is on the large size - not a serious problem for me, but if your hands are smaller (glove size medium or smaller) it might make your grip fairly open... Altogether a lovely sword!

Review of: Battlecry Hattin Falchion

Being a falchion one would expected the sword to be very blade heavy.  This is not the case with this sword. It is very light, maneuverable, and surprisingly well-balanced.
I like how windlass chose to use a hexagon design for the handle. I find it very easy to get a secure and solid grip.
For the price range you can't find a better production Falchion.
If this sword happens to be the Deal of the Day. BUY IT!!! You will not regret it.

Review of: Shrewsbury Sword

The one I own was from their run in the early to mid 90's. But it's a great sword! I handled one of the new ones last May

Review of: Eglinton Basket-Hilt Sword

This is probably my favorite basket-hilt sword in my collection. The unique and intricate basket is well made and encloses the complete hand. The blade, although a bit heavy, is thick and sturdy. The wire wrapped ray skin handle looks great and is very tightly assembled. 2 thumbs up!

Review of: Death Dealer Collector’s Edition Helmet

I've always been a Death Dealer fan. When MR came out with the full size armor & weapons, I was ecstatic. The helmet was no disappointment. Menacing and well constructed, it was a fantastic addition for my weapons & armor collection. I also have the axe and sword. All are exceptional. I highly recommend them.

Review of: Steampunk Airship Captain’s Katana

I purchased this for my son who shares the same enthusiasm for weaponry as myself.
It came today; my son opened the box and was absolutely thrilled.  He's into the Steampunk genre and this sword is the perfect addition to his collection.  I am very impressed with the quality and design, etc.  I ordered it sharpened as one would expect a sword to be.  I see this is now a closeout item.  If you've had any thought of owning one of these, get it before they're gone.  You'll regret missing out if they run out of them.
