Review of: Arming Cap, Quilted

Great arming cap. I wear it under my MRL Mail Coif and my MRL Visored Bascinet. Now the Arming Cap itself is a touch on the thin side, BUT if it were any thicker whatsoever my mail and helmet would be too tight. As of now they all fit perfect!! Not just trying to get reward points here. This arming cap is well put together and made to last, and mine has seen plenty of Renaissance Faires! Grab one,  you won’t regret it 👍😊

Review of: Tudor Close Helm

Great piece to add to any armor collection!  I do have one issue with mine but it is by choice, I have very long hair and the closure around my neck will pinch skin from the added girth, this is not the case with my short hair friends.  Another really nice thing about most MRL helms are they fully line them with suede leather... Truly appreciated!   This one grabs the most attention from guests over my house and everyone wants to try it on and have a picture taken.  It is truly amazing how many people want to encase their head in steel and are not claustrophobic about it.  The visor will also lock into the raised position when wearing or displaying the helmet when the over lapping edges of the visor and clam shell covering the jaw are parallel which is also a very nice feature.  Not all the edges are rolled on this helm but there are no sharp edges either and at this price point it has been executed very well.

These are simply wonderful.  Not only do they look pretty awesome, but they seem very durable and protective as well.  There's really nothing bad to be said about them!

Review of: Leather Swordsman Vambraces

These vambraces took a full blow from a cleaver, longsword, and shovel handle with no pain on my part and no deformation or marring of the vambraces

They look great! I also agree that they are quite comfortable and provide enough protection. I'm very happy with these Vambraces. I look forward to buying the Greaves to complete the set.

Tough leather Vambraces are rather hard to find but these fit the bill. The three piece set-up works wonderfully, and they absorb impact like a dream.
