Traditionally, Quaich Bowls were made in Scotland out of wood. However, as times have changed more materials have been used, such as pewter, horn, brass and even stone. Quaich Bowls are often given as awards, used as decorative pieces or as their original use, a drinking vessel, commonly used to drink Whisky. Makes a wonderful wedding gift. This bowl is made from original antique bronze mould, then turned on a lathe and polished highly by hand. Made in England of easy to care for pewter and decorated with glass sapphire cabochons.
