This was a great buy. Went to a pirate concert and got a lot of attention.

The baldric is slightly small for my frame, 6'4", and I had to add two notches to get it to sit comfortably on my waist. I would have liked to see double stitching on something that is 'battle ready'; and I also found suede to be an odd choice for a seafaring accessory.

My main complaint is fit and finish. As mentioned multiple times by other buyers the pommel and guard did not line up. This is why I've subtracted stars; as it is clearly a known issue yet no attempt has been made to correct this error in production.

Still, a wonderful blade and I have no regrets. Should the fit and finish be corrected, and the customer complaints addressed, this would easily be a 5 star product.

This is an AMAZINGLY beautiful piece. The pictures don't do it justice. The handle and guard are amazing! All my pirate friends are green with envy. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the Baldric that comes with it, but it is nice that it is added in.

Love this sword so, so much. Easily the favorite of my collection now. Everything about it just feels perfect and intimidating. The baldric is amazingly well made and completes the entire thing. Similar to review titled "Great Cutlass!" the guard and pommel notch were slightly off. And the ray skin wrapped around the handle was a little loose, but some superglue fixed that right up. Neither of those issues made me regret the purchase.

This blade is a lot of fun. It has a great balance and a nice over all feel. It is well executed except for the pommel notch on mine was slightly off from the guard. Should be an easy fix though. The baldric is a nice addition. I am very happy with my purchase.

Love this Short but heavy blade.  Made for chopping.  The feel is great and the look was just what I was looking for. The suede baldric looks and feels much better then what you see in the photos.  Not my first sword from Museum Replicas nor will it be my last.
