Nice piece!
I needed one of these for my replica shelf. It's better than the touristy type pieces floating around but is not quite as nice as MR or Windlass' current offerings.

Jambiya
I have been waiting for this one for a while and finally purchased it.  My expectations were small, but when I opened the box and got the first glance, I was completely blown away! First of all, the overall appearance was amazing! The handle is comfortable in the hand and is finished beautifully with the metal discs. The Blade is amazingly lighter than I had expected and almost flawless. And last but not least...I am a big fan of the scabbard! I find that the fit is appropriate for quick draw and carry on my sash and belt. I am very pleased with the sharpening service provided as well. I have made a couple other purchases from MRL just from how pleased I am from this knife. I look forward to doing more business with them soon before the Holidays! Thanks you MRL for the hard work and customer service.

Worth the buy
The overall construction and craftsmanship of the dagger is nice. However the sheath is entirely too loose.

Beautiful Jambiya Style Dagger!!!
Love this knife! I've always had a fascination with Western weapons and armor, but lately I have been attracted to Eastern and Middle Eastern styles. I had to wait a little while for this to come back into stock but it was more than worth the wait!! The blade is beautiful as is the Eastern style decoration. My only dislike is the handle is made of some type of light wood, making it a little blade heavy. But this is such a small thing who cares. Highly recommended!! Will always continue to buy MRL/ACC products!!!

Great Dagger
The Jambiya is a very good dagger offering from Windlass. Whilst the overall handle shape and material does differ a little from authentic Jambiyas, it is still a lovely design.
The decorations on the handle look very nice and do not obstruct your grip or make it uncomfortable to hold.  The blade itself is a nice curve that takes a good edge but may be a little difficult to hone at the point, as the blade is thicker in this area. Overall, the construction is solid despite being light in weight. The scabbard does fit loose, but I find that to be easy to fix with some leather or felt glued in opening.  I highly recommend this dagger.

Probably deserves a solid 3.5, but 4 works. Knife itself is fairly nice. Generally good Windlass quality. I like it a good bit. But the scabbard is definitely iffy, considering how loosely it fits the knife. But thats ok, its not exactly meant for use anyways.

Solid manufactured weapon, this one is one of my favorites, fits the hand well, though I can
see that the decoration could be a problem on the handle. I have owned this one for about 3 years and have had no problems with it.

Sturdy.Solid. Nasty. Lends itself to techniques that that straight blades are less effective at. I like it!

This a great knife.  It holds a nice edge and is great looking.  I glued a little wool felt in the sheath to make it fit a little tighter is all.

One of The ornamentation on the handle fell off after I dropped it on my driveway on accident, just need to glue it back on.

I got mine sharpened and good god was it sharp, nearly cut my finger off with a stupid move on my part... Just need to glue it back on >__>

The knife itself is just fine, but the scabbard does not hold the knife properly. It is only loosely held.
