Helm of Awe Pendant Necklace

The Aegishjalmur symbol, known as the Helm of Awe, was known to be both magical and powerful. Originally, the Norse warriors used this rune to ward against both physical and mental dangers by placing it on the front of their helmets or drawing it on their foreheads so they could confront adversaries fearlessly.

The disc has the symbol embossed on its face with a golden finish applied, then has a smoked transparent enamel glaze added to bring out the detail. Made in England of fine English pewter.

Measures approximately 1-3/8" in diameter with a 26" leather thong attached to traditional style dragon's heads.
