Great, beautiful short sword!
I purchased one of these recently on "deal of the day". Amazing price and great little sword. It came sharpened, all parts were tight, balanced well and the scabbard fit tight. Only bad thing was the tip was a bit blunt like when you drop a knife tip first on a concrete floor. That kind of little mushroom shape you get but that was fixed with a  few minutes on a honing stone. All in all a great sword even at full price! Also MRL's sister company Atlanta Cutlery sells a dagger that is so similar in design they would make a great set. Check it out. The drag there is the dagger can't be sent to CA. because it's classed as a dagger/deadly weapon by CA law so you better have a good friend out of state. Ha ha!

Love this sword
It was very nicely made and looked amazing. Love the Damascus pattern. Nice balance and weight. Atlanta Cutlery & Museum Replicas have always delivered quality items. This is my 9th purchase over the past 30 years, so I should know.

Worth the money but with caveats.
To start out I would like to say that this is indeed a good deal. You do need to know what you are getting into. There is very little distill taper going from the hilt to the point so this sword, even at it's size, feels very much like a chopper. This isn't necessarily a problem, this sword was probably meant to be used with a shield, and the chop needed to be authoritative. But it is something to be ware of. It is not tremendously weieldable for it's size. The very slick handle does not help with this issue.

The sword also does not fully fit into the scabbard. There is at least a quarter inch of blade sticking out. The handle is made using natural material so it indeed has some misperfections, but I find this to add to the charm of a natural weapon.

The blade has Pakistan stamped on it, as far as I can tell is made very solidly and with a beautiful Damascus pattern. I'm actually pretty happy with the money I spent on this sword. It is not perfect, but you do legitimately get what you are paying for. Maybe even a bit more. It feels much more solid than I expected from a 100$ damascus shortsword.

Makes a great wall hanger, and usable as a cutting sword out of the box. Once you wipe some of the grease off at least. No need to resharpen like with alot of weapons. Although you could eek some more edge out of it if you put in time with a whetstone or something.

Outstanding value
I'll admit I thought this price was too good to be true. A beautiful damascus blade with a lovely scabbard, and all for under $110? Impossible. Boy was I wrong. The sword is beautiful, and the scabbard, too. Tonight I used it to hack through some of the bamboo on my property and it had no problem going through the bamboo stalks. No chips or glinting, just a razor sharp, gorgeous, deadly blade.
