OVERVIEW

You too can own this knob sword cane supplied by Windlass Steelcrafts for the Blockbuster film Batman Begins. Carried by Henri Ducard (Ra's Al Ghul), it was not altered from our original at all. An update of the "swordstick" as the English were so fond of calling it, the elegant style that reflects your finer tastes. Materials specifically selected to offer a unique, balanced walking (and if the time comes, self-defense) experience. Spring, button-lock mechanism secures the blade safely and ensures quick retrieval should the need arise – better than friction locks that wear quickly and twist locks that waste valuable time. This is a dependable, real sword cane that will last. Exceptional quality and value in a walking companion.

This cane features something rarely seen in a sword cane; a full-length rapier blade. This premium quality cane's grip and pommel head are solid aluminum and balance the blade nicely. The shaft is seamless aluminum, much more durable than wood or plastic which is used on most other canes. Non-slip rubber tip, fully tempered, 1075 high carbon steel blade. The Knob Cane is your great chance to own a fantastic, real sword-cane, and accurate movie prop.

Enough with the sharpness...
The rapier (and it's dirty little cousin, the smallsword) do not swash; nor do they buckle. Rather, they perforate major organs in rapid succession, to then be swiftly and easily wiped clean while their victim doubles over and staggers away to die of internal bleeding, shock, or the equally likely absence of penicillin and surgeons who wash.
Given the way in which one deploys the pokey part of a swordstick, a sharpened edge seems a risky proposition, no?

For the people complaining that this sword isn't sharp.
To be clear I have not purchased this item but very much considering it.  To speak to the sharpness, a rapier is not a slashing weapon, it's a thrusting stabbing sort of sword.

Everything I asked for and more
The sword cane is durable, lightweight, perfectly balanced, and looks exactly like the one from the movie. The only complaint I might have is that the button has to be pressed REALLY hard in order for the latch to unlock, but this is a very minor flaw that is quickly forgiven because of how great everything else about the cane is. Would definitely recommend buying!

Nice sword...but....
...has a great point, but the edge of this sword cane is blunt, so slicing simply isn't possible. Additionally, you CANNOT USE THIS AS A CLUB as the latch won't hold...and you'll launch the sword into the distance if you do. OTH, once you draw the sword, you can use the aluminum scabbard/cane in your off-hand as a club. I'm deeply disappointed that sharpening isn't offered on this item when I purchased it from Museum Replicas. Nor can I find anyone who has the ability of sharpening it.

Great quality
It took two and a half months to arrive but I'm not very disappointed with the product. Wish the whole sword was sharpened, not just the very tip but still a great addition to my collection.

Buying another one
Love the sword when I first got it the looks and detail but between the real bad sticking I end up having to buy another one because I completely destroyed the game when I tried sharpening it up and I stuck it back in that sticking case and I had to completely tear it apart to get it apart now it looks like trash and I wanted it for it looks and I did want it to be so I'm buying another one and hoping this time to grease it up so it won't stick somehow

The best
The full length blade is of surprisingly good steel, and I welcomed the opportunity to sharpen it myself! Also the weight of the cane is definitely intimidating. If the blade doesn't solve my problems, the cudgel-like sheath will give your enemies pause. This product is more than worth the price and exceeded all my expectations!

The best of the best!
I own several sword canes from inexpensive to high end. This by far the best of the bunch. Well thought out design & functionality as a cane & as a viable means of defense. I'm sure most purchasers are novelty buys. As a 74 y/o retired Vietnam vet, I need an assistance platform that is fully functional. The construction & heft make it an acceptable weapon when necessary. The blade length & balance are excellent. Obviously, it is not shipped razor sharp. That is a no brain feature. You don't want any unsuspecting purchasers loosing any body parts in the process of opening the shipping box. If you want it sharp, that is easily accomplished. I know that in the future, when contemplating a knife/sword purchase, you company will be the first place I look. Thanks for creating a fully functional cane as well as a formidable weapon, at a great price point. Worth twice the price!

A smart-looking cane, and the "sword" is spring-tempered. But it is totally dull, not even a dull edge, there is no edge. Trying to defend yourself with this would be suicidal, unless your assailant runs away!
