Confirming the other reviewer, it is nearly jet black in color. It wouldn't fool anyone as a museum piece, but is exactly the kind of sturdy 'banger' toy we'd all wanted when we were young kids watching Heston, Curtis, Douglas, and Flynn sword-flicks.

It is not actually silver, or any color close to metallic. The product you will receive is almost completely black with a shoddy drybrushing of brass. No silver at all! Buy something worth having... not this one.
