The Lionheart Gambeson; worn by both foot soldiers and archers in King Richard’s company. This heavy, quilted 100% cotton gambeson is quartered in off-white and blood red with two lions rampant on the chest. Can be worn with or without mail. Dry clean only. Choose S/M or L/XL.

It's beautiful, comfortable, and works perfectly for what I do...Too bad the red runs, even if you get it dry cleaned. Now I have a red and pink gambeson...I only wore it twice. :(

followed the cleaning instructions to the LETTER and it ran. Now its red and pink. That's $88.00 down the drain and I only wore it once!
