This dress is based on paintings from the 13th century and was worn by very important ladies. Our dress features a long slender shape adorned with beautiful wide trim on the sleeves and above the hem line and twisted gold and green piping on the scooped neckline, shoulders and sleeve ends. Lightweight flowing fabric with a wonderful sheen in a dress that slips over your head. Green only. S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16) and XL(18-20). Dry clean only.

This is a great dress, one of my favorites. The picture does not do it justice. I've had it for five years and I still love it. True the fabric isn't accurate, but the lightweight makes it comfortable to wear in the warm weather.

I like the way the dress makes you look slender and also the color matches other colors if you wore a hat or cap, or even wore a shawl with it. It's not to clashy, or bright color. It reminded me of the antique dressed I like.

The picture does not do this dress justice, in terms of the color--it's a VERY bright kelly green, but beautiful. It also has lacing on the back which helps to customize the fit. My only criticism is of the fabric itself--we had to take it to the cleaner to get it pressed after it arrived (my own attempts at ironing it did not work), and the fabric is an extremely lightweight polyester, which doesn't really look "authentic". Having said that, though, my daughter was thrilled with it and it looked gorgeous on her. This is still loads better than most of the chintzy costumes available at other places.
