Arrrgh! It's pretty, but not wearable. After wearing it only twice, the sleeves are so snagged, I look like a scullery maid! Next time I buy a chemise, I'm wearing my jewelry as a test run...

The night of the medieval banquet, my first time to wear my gold chemise, I rode in a brand new Toyota rented for the occasion because our car was in the shop. As I exited the car, some tiny protruding piece of plastic caught the sleeve of the chemise and snagged it. That was the first of a series of sleeve-snagging events involving invisible projections on practically every surface I came near. It made for an anxious evening. This chemise is beautiful, but completely impractical for ordinary mortals. I felt I had fair warning of its fragility from the review above: I would not give it such a low rating if it were not for the fact that on arriving home, I found the chemise was snagged in places where it had been completely covered by my dress (the fleur-de-lis dress). Moral of story--this chemise, while beautiful, cannot be worn anywhere, except perhaps, to sit very still in a chair.

I have no rating for this. I wore it two times for an adult madrigal dinner and all that the chemise did was catch on everything, pulled strings everywhere and looked like steel wool was taken to the sleeves. Very dissapointed - loved the Fleur deLis Dress that it went under, but the chemise was not worth the $80.00 that I paid for it. Very shoddy.

This was a pretty fascinating piece of clothing. It has made my outfits look astonishing to the point where i can look sexy, without having it small to where it stops to my thigh.I love it personally. You will, too.

I got so many compliments when I wore this with a blue dress. The pattern is really detailed there is a texture to the pattern itself. This is really large and the XL was twice my size, but that has not been a bad thing. It has long drawstrings that I tuck down my back, but it allows you to adjust the sleeves. It looks great with the red, green, and blue dresses that they sell. It's a thicker material than the white ones.
