The chemise was worn under all Medieval ladies' clothing; it kept the outer clothing cleaner by absorbing perspiration. It was often slept in as well. Our well-made chemise has very long sleeves and ties at the shoulders. A very special Celtic look for your favorite gown. Poly/cotton blend, hand wash. This was a part of my bridesmaids ensemble. It was a bit hard to figure out how to make it work, but they all managed to get it right!! I LOVE how adjustable the dress is.. I had bridesmaids of all sizes, and they all looked great!!

Very nicely made -- love the lacy trim where it gathers up the sleeves. Amazing that a S/M fits me when I normally have to take a L/XL in the outer dresses. I'm very pleased and will continue to go through this company for period clothing pieces.

good weight fabrick did not wrinkle when machine washed and dryed and hung no swrinking will buy a back up for bad weather days thank you the renaissance nut
