This mail coif is made from intimidating butted armor, which has been blackened for moisture resistance. Reminiscent of the Black Prince, who purposefully let his mail darken to a blackish hue. Faithfully copied from examples in museums and private collections, it can be worn with or without a helmet. We recommend keeping this mail oiled at all times. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®.
