As long as armor was in use so were weapons designed to overcome it, the war hammer being one of the most effective. This example certainly follows suit with its large head and long deadly curved back spike. Hardwood shaft has tacks for a good grip. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®.

This thing is a beast. i would not like to be on the business end of it. the head was loose when I bought it but it was an easy fix. think the price is a bit high.

Back spike too short and blunt, handle too short. I would really like an archer's/footsoldier's War Hammer, like the one that was DISCONTINUED before I could buy one. PICTURE 2 is the WRONG ONE. If the product is the one shown in 1 & 3 then I would rate it 4 stars with a short, weak/unreinforced handle.
