This heavy-duty infantry sleeveless Gambeson was worn by knights and men-at-arms alike. The heavy quilted 100% cotton body makes it a great addition over a shirt of mail. It laces up the one side along the torso and the neck, giving this garment a fitted look, while the high collar adds the needed extra protection. Dry clean. Shown with the Robin of Locksley Gambeson #100476. Choose from black or burgundy, sizes S/M or L/XL.

These are as beautiful as they look on the website. However, the burgany is closer to a brown. I bought one in black for myself, and one in burgany for my boyfriend and they both fit well and will work nicely under our armour. They also seem quite breathable with just the right ammount of padding - no trying to move in puffed out parkas.

some of your products like this one do not go past the xl size. I am not small and the 2xl would be a fit for me. I do like the item but your sizes seem to be for children or young adults.

The Size does not include 2 XL, I my self have a 53" Chest and would like clothing for poeple that are 6'1 + and not built like a pole.
