After the samurai made the transition from mounted to foot soldiers, they continued to wear the hakama to set them apart and identify them. The hakama pants are 100% polyester with fully pleated legs to give the illusion of floating. The koshiato in the back allows ties for a comfortable fit around the waist. Shown with our Kendo Top.
