Inspired by Old World sword walking staffs and its single edged cousin, our new offering hides a full length double-edged Tai Chi sword blade that is well-tempered high carbon steel.  Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®. Handle and scabbard of sword walking staff are lacquered wood. Can be sharpened for additional fee. Cannot be shipped to CA, MA, NY or Canada.

I did not find any of the defects on the staff I received that were mentioned by the previous commentors. The staff is light. The blade was well sharpened and of average strength. So far it has stood up well as a walking staff. Although it is a shame to have to put normal ware and scuffs on the nicely polished finish.

Well made but very blade heavy! Could of had a better edge too. All in all a neat peice but not battle ready in any way!!

Poor balance and construction. One major problem I had with this sword is that the steel from the blade does not extend all the vway through the wooden handle. During training the wooden handle actually cracked and splintered. Definately not a combat ready blade!!! - Jess Warren, private collector.
