The last half of the 15th Century saw armor reach its apex in beauty in both form and function. This type of armor would have been a common site on the battlefields of The War of the Roses. Made of 18 gauge steel, these pauldrons offer right and left shoulder protection. Beautifully fluted with open work, these are made to go with our mitten gauntlets (#300226) and German Gothic Cuirass (#300100). Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®.

I am putting a outfit together for my wedding coming up in augest 29th at the minnesota REn faire.I will be getting this peice to add to my outfit.This is so very royal looking.Just bueatiful.

If anyone is looking for a good "Gothic" styled armor, these pauldrons are decent as long as you wear them low on the shoulder and leave the strap a little loose. The articulation is ok. I would not recommend using for WMA or SCA however, but for Rennfest goers or just to have a good looking kit in your collection its a good price. David Cellini WMA student & collector or A&A
