OVERVIEW

Circa 1300
As seen in the film Robert the Bruce

Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, was one of the most famous warriors of his generation. He eventually, alongside William Wallace, led Scotland during the first of the Wars of Scottish Independence against England. He fought successfully during his reign to regain Scotland's place as an independent nation and is today remembered in Scotland as a national hero.

This heroic sword is as powerful as the man who would have wielded it. The master craftsmen of Windlass Steelcrafts have hand forged this blade of high carbon steel. The beautiful pommel emblazons the Cross of St. Andrew, while the hearty grip is wrapped in soft, black leather and held in place by a corded silver chain. This massive sword comes complete with a matching, thick black leather scabbard with a silver Lion of Scotland at its throat and a rounded silver metal shoe at its tip. A 1-1/2” wide belt, measuring 56-1/2" long, is attached. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts and comes factory sharp.

Can be personalized with 3 Initials.

Very loooong sword!
It looks very nice, but is heavy and really long for a one-handed sword, and very tip heavy.  I'll need to seriously work out to wield this sword one handed.

Beautiful sword
I normally buy swords for function, and normally I prefer the aesthetic simplicity that comes with it.  However, this sword grabbed my attention -- and with good reason -- it is beautiful.  Scabbard and handle are wonderfully constructed and the woven steel and accents are lovely.

Though it has no distal taper, the blade has nice flex and is fairly sharp.  It is not totally unwieldy and its weight may lend to things such as cutting, though if I were to do proper strokes and forms with it it will take a lot more grip strength training and whole body conditioning likely with suburi.

The Sword of a King !
As seen in the film Robert the Bruce.

This sword is really massive. Solid and well made. It takes two hands to wield it and the heart of a warrior. The scabbard is also perfect, beautiful and well decorated. The set also comes with a sheath belt, which is always a plus for months. I love the look it gives.

Robert the Bruce sword
I love the look of this sword when I first saw it on here and had to have it, the sword itself feels good in the hand, it’s a little top heavy but it still works. Highly recommend this sword

A Very Beautiful & Impressive Sword
I cannot express how impressed I am with this sword. The quality and beauty of this weapon was everything I had hoped for and more. It is well balanced as a combat blade and simply exquisite as a display piece. I purchased it as a gift for my son, sharpened and engraved and has quickly become his most prized possession. I could not be happier with my purchase!

I bought this sword as the deal of the day so the price was fantastic!  The sword itself is fairly nice for the price and has a good feel in the hand.  I wish it was peened but so far I have had zero problems.

Beautifully constructed!  Quick, sharp and deadly!  This is an outrageously awesome sword.  It literally sings in the hand and moves with the speed of light.  Buy it!!!!
