This dagger is one of Kylar Stern’s main weapons in the Night Angel trilogy as he trains in the way of a Wet Boy (assassin). Made by Windlass Steelcrafts, the high carbon steel blade has been blackened to a pitch-black finish, along with the pommel and guard. Soft black leather ruggedly wraps the curved handle. The most interesting aspects of this knife are the small holes in the blade, which allows a Wet Boy to insert poison coated cotton, so even the slightest cut is deadly. Includes certificate of authenticity. The 1st 250 certificates are hand signed by Brent Weeks. (These are not numbered.)

Not exactly how I pictured this knife in the books, but wow is this thing intimidating! The construction is solid with a thick blade, solid handle, and comfortable leather wrapped grip. I love the little "poison" holes near the tip of the blade. The grooves along the length add a great layer of detail and just look fantastic. If it were sharp, I could absolutely see this as being a very dangerous weapon. The sole drawback - small as it is - is that the blade doesn't fit "perfectly" into the sheath. It fits, but the sheath does not match the curve of the blade and occasionally the tip of the knife catches on the leather of the sheath. The leather locking strap is also just barely long enough. Perhaps with time it will fit better, but right now I have to pull pretty hard and stretch the leather a bit to get the strap to lock in place. Overall, fantastic work on this one!
