We have named this fantasy sword for the fierce prehistoric predator. The pommel is in the form of its deadly claw, but of course, the long curving blade is the real force of this beast. Gracefully contoured parts are steel and the wood and leather grip is adorned with raised areas for a good grasp. Like all our swords, this well balanced cutting sword features a tough high carbon fully tempered blade. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®. Includes scabbard. Can be sharpened for additional charge.
  • Overall: 41-1/4"
  • Blade: 31-1/4" long, 1-7/8" wide, 3/16" thick
  • Wt: 2 lbs/9 oz

I bought this a few years back and thought I'd do a write up on it. From the wicked looking profile, to the well forged handmade blade to the fittings- this sword scores on all counts. While there is no real historical counterpart, so what- this is a sword you wear when you want to look the bad ass! Light enough for singlehand use, put your other hand on the hilt and you'll find that this sword practically begs to cut something. Being single edged, this sword has a beefy back spine and a terribly authoritative point section- it punches through steel-belted radials like there's nothing there- its a pretty decent cutter too. Even though the blade swells 2/3 of the way down the blade, there is no ungainliness or awkwardness for it; this sword is well balanced and is well suited for its purpose. I should never have sold mine! For the guy who is interested in drawing from the back- it would require a custom rig and scabbard and honestly, the blade's simply too long for that sort of thing. It would look cool, but that's about it. In a fight, you'd be dead before you could get it out of the backscabbard.

an absolutely beautiful sword in every respect. a full tang clad in real leather and fixed with a pommel that is downright intimidating. the blade is shaped in a fashion that is also intimidating, is perfectly balanced, and has a mirror finish. this blade is better than even i had expected. thank you very much for an exceptional sword.

Great sword for the price. Fantasy sword without going over the top on decoration and cheap fittings. I like mine!

This is so a hand-and-a-half sword. It feels so much like a USMC knife or a khinjal that its truly uncanny.
