This helmet is rich with deeply embossed detail across and around the crown and on the nose guard. Raised traditional Celtic Dog designs embellish the hinged cheek plates. Made of 19 gauge steel with an antiqued finish. Approx. 26" inner cir. with an adjustable leather liner with chin strap. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®.

A beautiful, sturdy helmet; it actually pulls off in reality the promise of the photo! HOWEVER: Like many Windlass clothing & armor products, it's just too small. I wear about a size 8 1/4 cap - pretty average - and the helmet barely gets on there. Note also that it has interior rivet points which are like right in the middle of your forehead & back of skull, so there's no room for folks with normal heads! For me it fits, but just barely (I'm 5'10" and 200 lbs). I WAS able to actually "squash" the helmet a tiny bit longitudinally without damage, and along with a ball-peen hammer for the rivets that helped a bit.
