Worn during the family bible reading, this is the dress that we first see Scarlett wearing, in all her beauty. This entire elegant gown is made of 100% cotton lawn fabric and consists of two pieces, the bodice and the skirt.

Two princess-seamed ruffles with an inner lace trim border a lace-front bodice on both front and back. The gathered puff sleeves have 1/2” lace trim and a double sleeve cap with 1” lace trim. The bodice has a stand-up collar with ruffled lace trim with a center front hook and eye closure. A series of fabric covered buttons sit on a ruffled trim down the center front. A buttonhole elastic fitting detail at center back waist allows for adjustability. The top bodice is lined in white cotton muslin. This stunning matching white skirt has eight layers of circle-cut ruffles, while a 1-1/4” waistband with three hook and eye closures allow for a perfect fit. The entire skirt has a white taffeta lining. The gown comes with a 2” wide, red cotton velvet belt which has a faux mother of pearl buckle. The lovely prayer brooch is included, which measures 1” around and has a gold finish and is surrounded faux ruby red rhinestones. Finally, the dress is shipped complete with a six-tier, nylon hoop skirt to complete your overall ensemble. Order M or L.
