Sword Of The High Middle Ages

#500294
$164.95

This Oakeshott Type XIII sword has a type 5 guard, which is one of the typical straight guards and a type K pommel of the wheel pommel family that were in use during the early to high Middle Ages. Although we think it is a good looking pairing, what really sets if off is the blade. Even though the furniture types had been in use for a great span of years, the blade shows the changes and advancements being made in the sword makers art, with its double fullers and its effective width and length making for a fine cutting sword all together. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.
