Lucrezia's favoured method of administering poison to her guest's drinks was from a ring or a hollow goblet stem. This late c15th noble goblet bears the Borgia’s double-headed phoenix crest and the initials LB, and houses an amply proportioned cavity behind the knop’s secret panel. The Latin text reads "BIBERE VENENUM  IN AURO" (To Drink Poison from a Cup of Gold). This fine drinkable pewter chalice is made in England. Won't tarnish, easy to care for. Ships Separately, No Express Shipping available on this item.
