This product is exactly as explain, it has worked well for me underneath my stainless steel armor in combat. For me this is close to authentic as you can get.

Sizing is all messed up on this, so be warned Smalls run big and larges run small. (Go figure) The quality of the leather is very thin and the pattern is over the top in person. Not worth the price even at the reduced level.

Ordered & returning. I was concerned when none of the pictures showed item being worn. I ordered the sm/m because the other comment. I'm 5'10" 185 lbs & the medium is not only big but foes not hang well at all. The leather quality & assembly seem good but pattern is awful. Id have to have the whole thing altered; at that price ; not worth it.

I bought it for museum replicas and I like it. At first almost returned it says XL on size but I thought it would smaller it is huge. I got it looking good once I used my black leather belt from another custome. Note the gambeson does not come with the belt in picture. Also it does not tell you that anywhere so this why I posted and gave it 4 stars. Also, note the leather is not perfect I think it got too hot when folded and when I unwrapped it some of it is not dyed on the back but it is just a little and I do not want to waste the hastle of returning it over somethign so minor. I could dye it I cared but will not.
