This unusual Thor's Hammer is an exact copy of one unearthed in Fossi, Iceland. Each pendant is hand made from .999 silver (that's pure silver) with superior texture and detail. No two alike. It was Viking crosses like these that helped ease the transition to Christianity due to the similarity of shape with the Christian cross. A photo of the original appears in "The Vikings" by Ian Heath. This is a striking pendant for ladies or gentlemen. Measuring 1-3/4" long x 7/8" wide, it comes complete with 18" long silver box chain.

For anyone who admires a nordic or viking flair, this is an outstanding piece! My original was given away to a warrior going to the Middle East for luck, and I replaced it with a competitor's MUCH inferior piece, not expecting MR's to get them back in stock, a mistake I won't make again!

As respects my own Nordic heritage, this item's representative value exceeds its cost. The Iceland find has served to validate our history and the availability of an example like this really allows a needed perspective.
