Excellent boot! Very comfortable. The height is easily customizable and the overall feel is perfect. Thank you.

Love these boots - very comfortable and very soft - just make sure to order at least one size larger than your normal shoe size

I just received these boots yesterday and despite the price they are absolutely wonderful, the soft flexible leather is extremely comfortable and easy to move about in and it was well worth purchasing them

Thus far, I love these boots. I've always been a fan of this style of boots, and with a pair that are actual leather, they won't scuff as easily as my other pair (the High Seas boots on this site,) have. Also in contrast to the High Seas boots, the rubber soles don't make a "clip clop" sound. I swear, it would sound as though I was wearing heels. They (the HS boots,) also have flat heels, which are more prone to slipping. Not only do these Cavalier boots have insulation and will be naturally warmer/waterproof, but they have grooved soles. This was a major annoyance when walking over concrete covered in the anti-freeze gravel, as it would crunch and scrape against the concrete as I walked. With these boots, I won't have that problem, nor will I slip as often. Finally, the overflap (not sure what to accurately call it,) I find to be customizable. You can wear the boots any height you want, and any excess towards the floor you can fold up underneath itself, making a shorter roll-over. As was told in the last review, the boots are a bit narrower and a size larger than what you would normally wear. For instance, my work boots are a 7, for these boots I needed to order an 8. They fit perfectly. Overall I recommend these boots for anyone who loves to dress medieval or attend Renaissance Festivals in costume!

Don't bother with these boots. I ordered a full size larger than I normally wear and they still did not fit. My left foot went in with some trouble and as for my right foot it woudl not go in at all, no matter what. When I matched the soles of these against my shoes, these boots were at least a size smaller. There needs to be some sort of sizing guidelines associated with these (and other boots listed) to make purchasing and knowing what size to get easier. (especially those that have a size range attached to them). I was reluctant to buy them in the first place, but this style of boots is exceeding difficult to find at all, let alone in a wearable size for someone with my wide feet and large calves. It would have been nice to have actually been able to find something that fit here (like the boots the used to offer a few years ago).
